How Rollcall works

The platform that
runs on trust,
end to end.

Job search? Our promise to you.

Your real signal does not get lost.

The referral is the application. People who know your work back you. No longer are you mixed into a sea of bots and frauds.

Companies listen when Rollcall shortlists.

Your name right to the hiring manager, one of five, not one of three thousand.

No more silence. Reasons, every time.

No 'we wish you the best.' If your name does not move forward, you get a real reason. Short, honest, useful. Every time.

This is not what you've used before.

Not a job board.

You will not be shouting into a void that never gives you anything back.

Not a network site.

Your profile is not on display. You are not in a database being scrolled through. No feed. No cold messages trying to sell you something. You move when you decide to move. Your search is your business.

Not an AI recruiter.

The signal is human. Real people back real names. AI reads the backings and weighs the fit. It does not invent the trust. It reads it.

Questions, answered

Frequently
asked questions.

01What if I don't know people who would back me?
Most people underestimate how many people in their network would back them. Former colleagues count. Teammates from old jobs count. A friend who has seen your work counts. The backing is a short form, not a phone call. Three minutes of their time. If you genuinely cannot find two people, that's information worth sitting with, and the platform is still useful for browsing what is open while you build the connection.
02Will my current employer find out I'm looking?
No. Browsing on Rollcall is anonymous. Your name is never tied to your search. Even when you decide to apply, only the company you applied to ever sees your name, and only after they have decided to engage.
03How much does it cost?
Nothing. Browsing is free. Applying is free. There is no signup wall, no premium tier, no paywall on jobs. Companies pay when they hire. Referrers get paid when their backing leads to a hire. You are the reason the platform exists, not a product it sells.
04How much can I actually earn for backing someone?
It depends on the role. On a real professional hire, the referrer share is meaningful. Not a small thank-you bonus. A real share of what the company pays. Strong referrers, over time, earn more on each one. The first successful hire you back is the proof.
05What if I back someone and they don't get the job?
Nothing happens to you. Your record is not damaged by backing someone strong who happens not to be the right fit for one specific company. The system distinguishes between a careful backing and a careless one. You are protected as long as you are honest.
06Is this only for tech jobs? Only for senior people?
No to both. The platform works for every kind of work and every level. If you have worked somewhere with people, you qualify. Tech, games, hospitality, healthcare, media, creative, sales, finance, operations, design. The backing and who you are is what the platform reads, not your years or your title. We want to know how you work, not just where you have worked.
07How is this different from LinkedIn?
LinkedIn is a social network. Rollcall is a focused trust layer for hiring. The whole point of LinkedIn is that everyone can see everyone. The whole point of Rollcall is that the right people see each other at the right time. Two different products with two different jobs. Rollcall is not trying to replace your professional profile. It is replacing the part of hiring that is broken.
08What happens if I don't make the shortlist? Do I just get ghosted?
No more silence. If your name does not move forward, you get a real reason. Short, honest, useful. Not a form letter. Not a "we went in a different direction." A real read of why this one role was not the right one for you, this time. We promise we will give you clarity, every time.
09Is this just an AI tool?
No. The technology serves the human signal. The system reads context at depth, but the signal it is reading is human. People backing people. The system use components of AI/LLMs and other system in the engine. Trust is the product.
10What about my data?
It is yours. We do not sell it. We do not show it to anyone you have not chosen to be seen by. The full privacy policy is written in plain English, not legalese. Read it before you sign up.
11What if this is my first job? Who should back me?
Anyone who has seen you work counts. A teacher who watched you handle a project. A coach who knows how you show up. A professor whose class you put real effort into. The manager from the part-time job you had in school. Someone you volunteered with. The vouch is about who knows the way you work, not just who has the most senior title. For a first job, that often means the people who watched you become the person you are.

Apply. Get backed. Hear back.
